Here's how the live training program works:
The Live Training + Online Program gives you the state-mandated textbook material plus supplemental* training to prepare you for a successful career in real estate. This 3-month program includes live instruction (Webinar or In-Person) and online coursework for the following REQUIRED COURSES:

FREQUENCY OF TRAINING -- (How many classes are included?)
If you choose weekdays - 2 times a week (6 two-hour sessions a month)
If you choose Saturdays - once a week (3 four-hour sessions a month)
Classes are held for the first 3 weeks of each month, and the 4th week you will have off to take the quizzes and complete the course final exam online.
DURATION OF CLASSES -- (How long do I have access to the classes?)
You will receive 3 consecutive months of training. You will cover 1 course a month. Concurrently, you receive 6 months of online access to the courses to read the e-Books, take chapter quizzes, and pass the course final exams. Keep in mind, the chapter quizzes and course exams are OPEN BOOK!

How Much Does a Wisconsin Real Estate License Cost?

Can I Get a Wisconsin Real Estate License If I’m Already Licensed in Another State?
Yes. Wisconsin offers an out-of-state licensing path for applicants who have held an active real estate salesperson license in another state within the past two years.
In many cases, you can qualify by completing Wisconsin’s 13-hour board-approved reciprocal pre-license course and meeting the state’s application requirements. If you are coming from Illinois or Indiana, Wisconsin has long-standing reciprocal treatment for those states, but DSPS now presents the broader endorsement path based on recent licensure in another state.
How Often Do I Renew My Wisconsin Real Estate License?
Wisconsin real estate licenses are renewed every two years. To renew an active license, you must complete 18 hours of continuing education during each renewal period, including 12 hours of mandatory coursework and 6 hours of elective coursework. Wisconsin real estate licenses are typically renewed by December 14 of each even-numbered year.
Do I Need a Sponsoring Broker for a Wisconsin Real Estate License?
Yes. After you are licensed, you must work under a licensed Wisconsin real estate broker in order to practice as a salesperson.
How Long Does It Take to Get a Wisconsin Real Estate License?
The timeline depends mostly on how quickly you complete the 72-hour course, pass the exam, and submit your application. Since the education requirement is relatively short compared with many other states, most of the timing comes down to your study pace and exam scheduling.
Do I need a sponsoring broker for a Wisconsin real estate license?
You do not need a sponsoring broker just to qualify for the license itself, but you do need to be associated with a licensed Wisconsin firm in order to practice as a real estate salesperson. Wisconsin’s DSPS application materials include a Notice of Licensee Association with Firm, which is the form used to associate a salesperson with a broker/firm.
