What to Expect

In Indiana, newly licensed real estate brokers must complete 30 hours of post-licensing education.
This mandatory training ensures that new brokers have a solid understanding of Indiana’s real estate laws, ethical standards, and best practices from the outset of their careers.
Required Post-License Education:
- Timeline: All 30 hours must be finished within the first two (2) years of obtaining your initial broker license.
- Consequence of Non-Completion: If you do not fulfill the requirement, you may be ineligible to renew your license on active status. An inactive or expired license prevents you from legally practicing real estate in Indiana.
