Maine real estate licenses generally expire two years from the date of issuance. If licensees do not complete the required CE by the expiration date, they may renew late with an additional fee within a specified grace period; otherwise, their license will become inactive or expire. To reactivate an inactive license, all overdue CE must be completed and any applicable fees must be paid.
