What to Expect


In Vermont, newly licensed real estate salespersons must complete an 8-hour post-licensing seminar within the first 90 days of obtaining their license.
This mandatory training is separate from the standard continuing education required for future renewals. The post-licensing seminar ensures that new licensees strengthen their understanding of Vermont-specific laws, regulations, and ethical standards right from the start of their careers.
Consequence of Non-Completion: If you fail to meet the 8-hour requirement by the deadline, your license may be subject to suspension or placed on inactive status, preventing you from legally practicing real estate
